Wheeler was a top 50 prospect at the time, but was 2 years away, so yeah that has a lot less value than a Top 5 prospect that is ML ready.

But you have to account for the desperation factor at the deadline and pressure to make a move as well. Dickey would still have more value, but I don't think it's enough to get Myers straight up.

I think KC might actually be better off giving up Gordon, but I don't think they see it that way. I think they'll give up Myers.

I would give up Niese or Dickey, plus Flores to bring back Myers. Don't see Flores as a 2nd baseman and Wright and Davis got the corners. He would be moved to the outfield and if I look and Flores and Myers, I want Myers in my lineup
