Has Harrison Barnes done anything to change your 'he won't be a star' view?
Not really. That smash over Pekovic was awesome, don't get me wrong, but when I watch Barnes I still don't see the feel or ball skills that would translate into a scorer. His selling point is that he might shoot 40% on 3s and be a plus defender at the small forward spot.
Is it just me or have Carl Landry and David Lee improved as defenders this season? I thought the Warriors would be much worse defensively with those two on the floor than it has been.
I'm as surprised as you are. Figured that lineup would be toast on a stick, but the W's have been pretty solid defensively. Instead it's their offense that's holding them back.
Kinda sucks how are offense hasn't clicked but I really put that on Klay Thompson and curry at this point. Those guys need to shoot better.
But it's been proven so far. Good defense wins games regardless of how average our offense is on any given night.
see I would see that as extremely encouraging. Klay thompson and steph curry are two of the best shooters on the planet. They are way way way too good of shooters to struggle forever. If klay thompsons shooting is our biggest concern... we have a chance to be a really really good team when those guys are shooting decently.
Mackshock, the warriors are going to be tested like never before. Now they may not make the playoffs like i predicted. They won't have Bogut this year and he was the reason why people thought they might make it.
