Watson has scored 30 or more points 3 times in his career.

Sure but I thought that anytime Derrick goes out, he had the ability to make up some of the scoring.

I have absolutely no faith in Hinrich in picking up any scoring for this team.

I understand why we let Watson go and thats fine but I didn't like picking up Hinrich at all.

Clearly Kirk is not here for scoring... There's more to basketball than scoring the ball. I still believe at the end of the day, his percentages will be right where they need to be. He'll put up 10 ppg and between 37-40% from 3.

Kirk runs this team much better than Watson, Lucas, Nate or Teague could.

Kirk just needs to manage this team until Rose gets back. I'm just glad we can let him go after next year.

He will still be with the team after his contract ends, IMO. He'll move behind Teague (if he's still here or whoever is) on the depth chart though, be a veteran/leader off the bench. This is if he decides to keep playing of course.

That's such an overstatement. A. Hinrich is much better than Scalabrine as a player. B. Scal brought a lot to this team, we probably wouldn't have been as good without him here. You can't have All-Stars from 1-15.

As for all stars 1-15, I would much rather have some young players playing for this team then some washed up players. But thats my opinion.

Scal had as much impact as an end of the bench player can have. I wish the Bulls kept him in some capacity.

The only release i liked was JL3. The Bulls must not have considered Watson and Brewer taking minimum contracts.

But Kirk is worthless on offense, Cj was at least a threat and he was clutch last year when Derrick was out.

Player A is Hinrich. Player B is Watson. Yes, Hinrich's been ****ing awful shooting the ball so far. But he's played better defense than Watson ever did when he was here in Chicago, sets up his teammates better than Watson ever did, and is carrying a bigger load while doing so. Watson hasn't been efficeint, and he hasn't been great passing the ball either. I don't miss Watson one bit.

Behind Rip, I would take CJ over Kirk 100% of the time.

As a backup point guard, it's a toss up - slight nod to Kirk.

With Rose out for half the season, Kirk gets the easy nod.

That, coupled with Watson's salary was the deciding factor.
