Free agents usually go the Mets or Braves to kill their careers. Trades and farm system are the braves b bread and bbutter. The Mets have no bread and butterSo by my estimation.. Atalanta will regret that contact by july. lol

I do like the fact that Reuben had a number and left him go when it went to high...progress? I hope so

Harry, I grew up with the phillies and learned the game by your voice. You will always be missed but never forgotten. Though you are no longer with us, you'll never be "outta here" in our hearts!
I think he always has a number, sometimes it's just a very high number.

exactly, like the hamilton number has 9 digits in it
That would be fine if it's a 3 year deal + 2 club options.

that would be REAL nice...but unlikely...
It's doubtful anybody is going to offer 5 years guaranteed. If the buy outs on the options are high, then that type of offer should be competitive with any 4 year offer.

If anyone's willing to offer a 5 year deal, you know it's Ruben. Guy loves giving up long-term flexibility for short term gratification.
