If You Had 60 Mil To Spend This Off-Season, What Would You Do

Assuming arbitration guys are already signed(as well as Wright and Dickey's salaries for 2013) and you'll have 80 mil to spend in 2014, who would you sign now or what would you do?

    I'd do the following:

    5 year/26.5 mil contract extension for Ike Davis(2013 - 3 mil; 2014 - 3.5 mil, 2015 - 5 mil, 2016 - 7 mil, and 2017 - 8 mil) , club options in 2015 and 2017(both club options are 2 mil buyouts).

    5 year/10 mil contract extension for Ruben Tejada(2013 - 1 mil; 2014 - 1 mil, 2013 - 2 mil, 2014 - 2.5 mil, and 2015 - 3.5 mil)

3 year/33 mil extension for Dickey

    7 year/120 mil extension for Wright(30 mil in 2014 and 2015; 12 mil annually for 2016 - 2020)

5 years/75 mil for BJ Upton

    3 years/39 mil for Swisher

2 years/25 mil for Cody Ross
I like your ideas but these are the changes id make to save some money to spread around to the bullpen and bench

I don't want Swisher because he wont have the same offensive production in Citi Field in comparison to the left handed bandbox that is Yankee Stadium.

If I want anyone in the FA class of 2014 it would be Corey Hart, Carlos Gomez (if he repeats his 2012 success), and/or Prado for his versatility.

Nick Swisher's home/away splits over the past 3 years are very even (Home .281 38 hrs, Away .267 38 hrs) while Corey Hart seems much better in the Brewers "bandbox" (Home .308 55 hrs, Away .252 32 hrs)

The power is similar enough and Hart is still the better hitter in my opinion.

Hart is also the better RH hitter as obviously he doesn't switch hit like Swisher.

Not to mention the familiarity with National League pitching Hart already has.

So you guys wouldn't extend Tejada and Ike now for below market value?

I'd buy Jeter'd penthouse in Trump Tower; but he has to throw in the furniture and window treatments.

I would buy me a penthouse in the city or Wright's former pad.

I would buy them most perfect double bass setup money could buy. I'm in the market now and and 60 mil would certainly help.
