The Dodgers are not expected pursue closer Brian Wilson, reports Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times. Wilson was non-tendered by the Giants on Friday. The back end of the Dodgers' bullpen appears to be set with the recently-signed Brandon League plus Kenley Jansen and Ronald Belisario under team control
guess its a no go. im not heartbroken lol
BEAST!!!
Would rather have Wilson than belisario to be honest
LAKERS/RAMS/DODGERS/UCLA/MAN U/MEXICOShut it down. Let's go home.
Why the Belisario hate? He's pretty damn good
It's just that after Schmidt and Uribe, I am a little fed up with ex Giants players (I had no ptoblem with Jeff Kent, can work). But he wants money, he is right he will get it... somewhere else. Our bullpen is costly enough. Re-sign Choate and keep money for the starters and an OF
10-4 record at Dodger stadium !

The Dodgers seemed like the most likely fit for him outside of San Francisco because of their deep pockets (they probably are one of the only teams willing to throw the money at a guy who may not perform). But, I guess they aren't going to do that. I remain optimistic he will come back to San Francisco at a reasonable, incentive-laden contract. Only time can tell!
Although, I would have to agree with some of the posters here, that LA is where formerly good Giants players go to die. Weird how that happens fairly frequently.
