    Brian Wilson to the Dodgers?

    Tim Brown ‏@TBrownYahoo

Hearing Brian Wilson's first choice to pitch in 2012 -- outside of SF -- is for the Dodgers. He lives in LA during offseason.

    Ken Rosenthal ‏@Ken_Rosenthal

Some say #RedSox for NH native Brian Wilson. Donít rule out #Dodgers. Lives in Malibu in winter. Another late-inning option with League.

    JIM BOWDEN ‏@JimBowdenESPNxm

If Giants non-tender Brian Wilson on Friday it might be the same as just buying him a plane ticket to their arch rival Dodgers #don'tdoit

IMO, why the **** not? Sure he is a risk with tommy john surgery but he wont get that 8 mil deal he is seeking with the Giants. If he turns out anything like he was before the surgery, our bullpen is going to be the best in the league hands down. Lets see if he is non tendered first though.

A one-year deal with an option would be fine. But don't we already have an overcrowded pen already?

i agree with others, 1 year deal at 3-4 million would be worth it imo. If he returns back to old form, this will be a steal and a stab in the heart to Giants fans. If he doesnt work out well, we have 2 more reliable relievers/closers to use in his place.

I believe he will want somewhere between 6-7 million. If it only took 3 million to keep him I'm sure the giants would do that.

    Exactly.

The whole reason he may be non-tendered is that the Giants want him to take a pay cut. Hence, anyone who wants him will have to come very close to his 2012 salary, maybe more, who knows.

Shave that cartoon beard, and maybe we'll talk...otherwise, I would pass.

I cringe at the thought of another giant coming to the dodgers after our re cent success with them. But a one year deal might be cool if he is healthy and can stick it to the giants
