If it's a minor league deal where our new pitching coach from Oakland can help him..I don't see the harm. But It isn't that serious. He's nothing special.

I know we are talking about jurgens but that's not happening but what about mark Reynolds? Non tendered today by the O's he crushes the ball when he doesn't strike out but I see him getting some ABs at third for A-Rod or DHing when available.

He makes perfect sense. Literally no risk involved with any 1 year deal that we sign a player to, especially a cheap one like he'll get.

If its a minor league deal there is absolutely NO reason to not take a chance. Worst case he doesn't work out and you cut ties. Best case he gets back on the right path.
