No he shouldn't sit, but it is safe to say the Lakers will be reluctant to go to him in a tight ball game if he can't make at least 1 of the 2 free throws. For all of Shaq's criticism at the line, he made most of them when it counted or at least 1 of the 2. Dwight on the other hand is a head case at the line and this will continue to be an issue.

PSD Anime Forum, anyone?
No, even with the free throw struggles Dwight gives us shot blocking. I think they should sit Pau late in the 4th. The guy is an invitation to a layup.
Crooner answer the question and explain why. Then let the rest do the same! Howard is needed there no matter what! The coach is the one that we need to get fired! Phil!!!! come back!

Shaq on leaving Magic for Lakers: "Do I regret leaving here in '96, yes I do.”
Im pretty sure we lost because Kobe got 10 turnovers, Gasol shot 2-9, MWP went 1-8 like we are used to, Dwight missing 9 free throws, Morris going 0-6, Jamison going 1-7, and Duhon and Meeks each going 0-3. If you consider that every two missed free throws and each missed shot are potential turnovers, the Lakers practically gave it away all night. Nobody but Dwight (except on the FT line) could make a shot to save their life.
If we sit Dwight for lack of FTs then let's also sit Pau for lack of D. Heck let's just have Kobe out there.
Free As Seagull.
He needs to be out there to clean up Pau's mess.
