Just for the reason Jewelz bring up. We lose out on offensive rebounds, and easy baskets. If Howard get a lob that's better than a Kobe fading 20 footer, or a Pau jumper. He's a liability at the line no doubt, but even last night, it wasn't just him missing ft's. Metta missed 3, Jamison missed 3, Morris missed 3. If those guys make 50% of their free throws we win easily

No he shouldn't sit, but it is safe to say the Lakers will be reluctant to go to him in a tight ball game if he can't make at least 1 of the 2 free throws. For all of Shaq's criticism at the line, he made most of them when it counted or at least 1 of the 2. Dwight on the other hand is a head case at the line and this will continue to be an issue.

A good reason for the ball only leaving kobes hand into Paus hands in the 4th quarter in a close game ( until nash is back) as opposed to people sying bench pau, isnt it?

^^ Dwight's impact on D is a necessity, considering our other players' erratic effort in that regard, and far outweighs Shaq's back then.

Plus Shaq made them when they counted or at least one!

but dwight had 5 foulds at the time. he couldnt risk getting fouled out.. especially since the game had a very high chance at going into OT

crooner will never stop from pointing any of our players except pau

It will always be Kobe or Dwight's fault in your mind

Yes, but we can see through the thread and realize how you're always thinking about Pau. So, we just thought we'd bring up Pau. Seeing as how you always bring him up for no reason.

No, even with the free throw struggles Dwight gives us shot blocking. I think they should sit Pau late in the 4th. The guy is an invitation to a layup.

Crooner answer the question and explain why. Then let the rest do the same! Howard is needed there no matter what! The coach is the one that we need to get fired! Phil!!!! come back!

Im pretty sure we lost because Kobe got 10 turnovers, Gasol shot 2-9, MWP went 1-8 like we are used to, Dwight missing 9 free throws, Morris going 0-6, Jamison going 1-7, and Duhon and Meeks each going 0-3. If you consider that every two missed free throws and each missed shot are potential turnovers, the Lakers practically gave it away all night. Nobody but Dwight (except on the FT line) could make a shot to save their life.

If Pau doesn't make his shots, he has relatively low value IMO. Id rather have Hill play the end of games because Pau is a defensive liability, and if he is injured then we can expect this kind of thing for a while.

If we sit Dwight for lack of FTs then let's also sit Pau for lack of D. Heck let's just have Kobe out there.

It's a catch 22. One hand he blocks a shot... get fouled missed the FT. But the team seem to rely tooo much on him for defense.

He needs to be out there to clean up Pau's mess.
