If we contract wouldn't it be better to hold off on the comp spec talk?

Contraction should cause more talent per team to be available.

There would be some impacting additions to the talent pool right off the bat but it would do nothing to address future growth, the trade market, the fact that no one lets their pending FAs walk...stuff like that will still be an issue. We'll just have to decide if we're ok with it or not, I suppose.

Honestly this should have happened a while ago before a certain East coast franchise got 7/10 #1 overall picks in a decade.
But the royals aren't an east coast franchise?

I say no to contraction. I don't understand how we cannot find a few more guys. I would like to see all 30 teams at some point tbh lol. We did this for so long in the first league on PSD, I think we can do it again. It would just take all of us to start recruiting on the other forums we frequent.

I don't think it's possible without a handful of changes. We have some new guys, thankfully. But we never seem to stay anywhere near full. We only have 24 teams and always seem to have several open. We're down to two openings right now, I believe. But check in a month or two and see if we're back up to four or six or something, because that's what's been happening. I actually don't want to go through with contraction either, but we definitely need something to fix the activity level.

And I don't think adding comp spects is going to help, OOTP as a whole has died out in the last 2 years. Plus were using OOTP10 when OOTP14 will soon be out, not that I want a different version used.

According to the number of leagues using older versions of the game.

So what you mean to say is that "OOTP X as a whole has died out in the last two years"
