It's funny. Out of the OP's 7 total posts, only his first post is from 2010. Then he lay dormant until late August of this year. The final 6 of 7 posts were all from this season.

In the most existentialist meaning possible though, isn't the whole POINT of legislation, ultimately morality? I mean, isn't it illegal to run a red light because running a red light could cause an accident and do damage to life and property and we have made a moral decision that the destruction of others' property and lives is immoral?
I can't think of an example of a law that would be made which
would not reflect some moral decision having been made which
is being enforced by the law. Kind of like, in a way, legislation
IS morality. Can you think of any exceptions?
It may be that what you meant was, "Even the best laws cannot
make people good" or something along those lines. Which is
totally true.
