Tonight's game should not have been close though. They were up 9 or 10 late in the game and almost let it get away with some inexcusable turnovers. Jrue turned it over a lot. I am not sure which I prefer less Lou's poor shot selection at the end of games in the past or the turnovers late in games by Jrue at least one has a chance of netting points. Like the win but discouraged how they played down the stretch.

Hopefully this is an upward trend for our young guys. I want some ice cold finishers on this roster.

It might be a game we would have lost last year....or it might be one we won by 15 and it never got to be a close one. But obviously, the ball in ET and Jrue's hands...even with the turnovers...is better than Lou/Iggy contested pull-ups. Our defense at the end of games still needs plenty of work, however. And we have had a very easy schedule thus far. So, I'm not convinced it's solved yet.

Exactly. For a while last year we had like the highest point differential in league history haha. But yet we also had like one of the worst records in close games of all time.

Take your pick on the outcome, but had the game been close we certainly would have found a way to lose.

Now we have Jru aka Jordan aka Reggie Miller, aka Robert Horry taking the last shot, we are a lock to win the close games. I almost thought this thread was a fail.
