    No carb diet

I was wondering thoughts on no carb diet. I gotta friend who did it, and the before and after picture is amazing.

Basically the diet is 3 meals, that you rotate

    1. no carb protein shake, 3 scoops, whey isolate, about 75 grams protein
    2. 6 egg whites, 6 whole eggs, 10-12 almonds
    3. 10 oz lean meat, 4 cups green leafy vegetable

    sample

    0700 meal 1

    1000 meal 2

    1300 meal 1

    1400 meal 2

    1600 meal 3

    1800 meal 1

    2000 meal 3

    2200 meal 1

basically, you eat 8-10 times a day, and you can use any 1 of those meals. they can be switched, swapped, or whatever.

You drink 24-32 ounce water with each meal.

his before and after pic was amazing...

thoughts? good for cutting, but you think you could build strength on it has well?

    all, any input, welcome.

    thanks.

I've cut with keto and a regular low calorie diet with carbs. I didn't see much of a difference except not getting to eat tasty carbs.

I don't like, reason? Well, your body needs energy Carbs provide energy that your body needs.

I don't like the word, " Diet ". Change your way of eating, the first month is the hardest, it takes time for your body/ taste to acclimate.

It takes two things----discipline and consistency. which both are hard when your young and busy.

Just eat healthier options drink lots of water. Stay with it, don't cheat. You put in the gym work reults will follow.

options- oats. grains. nuts. whole food. nothing fried. nothing fast food.

You can still build muscle with negligible amounts of carbs in your diet.

Calories = energy. There's more than just carbs. Your body can function just as well with all fat + protein and minimal carbs.

CKD also accounts for a weekly or bi-weekly carb refeed.

    It's perfectly legitimate.

He said no carbs in the title and I didn't read the OP close enough I guess.

The body needs energy, but it does not NEED to come from carbs. If you reach a ketosis state you can get plenty of energy from fat.

Yes I understand, my point was carbs are not bad, unhealthy lifestyle/ eating is bad. Change what you eat, not just diet for specific time.

You don't have to cut out carbs to be cut/ ripped/ great shape.
