    Jason Babin

Jason Babin was cut by the Eagles today. Any thoughts about us picking him up?

I doubt he makes it to us on the waiver wire as we're currently 27th I believe.

If he were to make it, I'm not sure I'd want him anyway.

I think I would. Pay isn't too bad for the upcoming season and we can never have enough pass rushers.

I would absolutely love it if we got him.... doom von and babin? That would be THE scariest pass rush in the nfl. That being said, there is pretty much no shot of us getting him.

AHHH, damn it damn it damn it. We are never going to snag him but he is exactly the answer to my wishes for that 3rd pass rusher..

If we were around 20 I'd have a little hope of snagging him. Teams that aren't contending, in a 3-4 and can't afford him won't get him. I could honestly see him passing a lot of teams. all they way to the early 20's maybe. But just the fact that the Patriots are right below us gives me reason to believe there's 0 shot at it happening.

I definitely believe a non contending team would take a shot at him...he is a pass rusher. Those are a premium.

And how are the Pats ahead of us? They own the tie breaker..a.k.a have the better record than us..

Who will get first crack at Babin? Here's the waiver order, according to the NFL:

    1. Kansas City Chiefs

    2. Jacksonville Jaguars

    3. Philadelphia Eagles

    4. Oakland Raiders

    5. Cleveland Browns

    6. Carolina Panthers

    7. San Diego Chargers

    8. Buffalo Bills

    9. Tennessee Titans

    10. Detroit Lions

    11. Arizona Cardinals

    12. New York Jets

    13. St. Louis Rams

    14. Miami Dolphins

    15. New Orleans Saints

    16. Washington Redskins

    17. Dallas Cowboys

    T-18. Cincinnati Bengals

    T-18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    20. Pittsburgh Steelers

    21. Minnesota Vikings

    22. Seattle Seahawks

    23. Indianapolis Colts

    24. New York Giants

    25. Green Bay Packers

    26. New England Patriots

    27. Denver Broncos

    28. Chicago Bears

    29. San Francisco 49ers

    30. Baltimore Ravens

    31. Atlanta Falcons

    32. Houston Texans
    This is the order.

He's a much better threat than our 3rd pass rusher...whoever that may be.

He's been bouncing around a bit...but I like his ability to put pressure up the middle..however he has struggled in the running game which is probably a no go with us.

all indications point to him being a toxic player in the locker room.

He's an excellent pass rusher but chances are we wouldn't have been able to claim him anyways. I'm seeing him going to either Saints, Cowboys, or Redskins.
