Eagles cut him today.. What are the chances we take a look at him to help us make a playoff run?? Dont get mad anyone, its just a simple question.. what is everyone else's opinion?

Who's mad sign him asap. We could use a consistent edge rusher opposite Kerrigan. Cross your fingers.
Eagles organization and fans felt he was underperforming and was a product of the wide 9.
I dont know how a DE in the 4-3 wide 9 would translate to a 3-4. I don't really want him but if our coaching staff felt like he fit then I'm all for it. Whoever signs him will have to pay him $1.5 million for the remaining 5 games.

no thanks and why am I not suprised to see a thread like this
It might not work, but it might be worth a try.. Any help we can get on defense, I'll take it..
Eagles fans have been complaining about his lack of performance allllll season. But then again, if I were on the Eagles squad this year, I probably wouldn't be exerting myself too much either.

The "experts" on espn seem to think he fits both the 3-4 and 4-3.
if hes talented then don't tell me because he's used to one scheme he can't learn another. however if he only had one good year then thats another thing. with the injuries we have i don't see how trying him could hurt. we can always cut him too. if he's better than what we have now then go for it. i'm sure it will be considered.
He's going to make about 6 million per year through 2016, and I doubt he's going to clear waivers, so we'd be on the hook for that contract. Quite a steep price to pay for a player that may not even fit what we're doing on defense.
LOL I hate this. Everytime another team cuts someone it's OMG LET'S LOOK!!!!! When are fans going to learn?
Guy doesn't fit the 3-4, AT ALL. Haven't we had enough of bringing in 4-3 players to play 3-4, only to watch them fail? He's had really one standout season which was last year at the age of 31.
Says all I need to know.
NO.

If we plan on running some 4-3 sets and he clears waivers then sure. I don't think either of those things will happen though so probably not.
