I would prefer Jose Valverde or Brian Wilson to Soriano, Valverde brings great energy to a team and as much as I hate Brian Wilson he also brings energy to the team Soriano is just there doesn't get excited/bring much energy to the team

I would take Jose Valverde at his best over Soriano at his best only problem with Valverde is which version are you gonna get?

Valverde will be cheaper and will bring energy to this team that Soriano won't we don't even need another closer though so I don't know why there looking at Soriano they should just try to get Sean Burnett to be the left handed specialist and not worry about another closing option

I don't see the point of going with Valverde, who's has been getting worse every year when our bullpen doesn't need work.

Best year in his career was last season Valverde dominates every other season and I am only suggesting him cause theres rumors we are after Rafael Soriano who will command a 3 to 4 year deal where as Valverde will only want one I personally agree with you we don't need another reliever let alone another closing option

I honestly think we are going to get a big name pitcher through trade anyway whose arm isnt falling off anyways. Hopefully its Price, Shields, or Dickey. Obviously Price is the big prize but he would cost a lot. Then go out and still sign Greinke.

I hope you're right. I would rather have Price than Grienke even at the cost of Z. Lee, Dee, Pederson and whoever else they would want. Adding Price plus another quality pitcher would be awesome.
