My comments must have been confusing, I think the only way the Dodgers get involved with Hamilton is if the Giants go after Hamilton. Posey, Hamilton and Sandoval would be the start of a good lineup. I dont really think the Giants will go after Hamilton unless they miss out on all the other centerfield options.

I do see the starting rotation and bullpen being upgraded. This ownership group wants to be the top dog, so I think there will be some fireworks this week. I am hopeing to see Grienke, Marcum, Ryu and Hanrahan in Dodger Blue by Friday.

I was reading an article on ESPN that said they think Greinke could sign as early as Tuesday, but consensus is he'll sign by end of next week forsure and 14 of 15 people predicted he'd sign with the Dodgers, God I hope so

The Dodgers' shopping list includes Greinke, a fourth outfielder that can play center, and a backup corner infielder, according to MLB.com's Ken Gurnick. Gurnick also says negotiations continue with lefty reliever Randy Choate.
Any ideas on the forth outfielder and backup infielder?

I definitely think we need both of those spots filled especially a backup 1B, which is why I'm open to Juan Rivera coming back, but I feel the guy we always forget about is Jerry Hairston, he can fill the 3B backup role and play the OF, maybe not CF, but we could shift Crawford over to CF if Kemp needed a rest and Hairston could play LF

Keppinger is a great name to bring up, I'd love to get him, not sure how he feels about being a backup, but I'm sure he'd accept that role on a winning team

Im second guessing keppinger. Just found out he broke his leg last week and might not be ready for ST. That probably brings his value down and will have to accept a lesser role but not so sure he can play the whole season

If he's ready for spring training that's all we need and as you said that lowers his value too, which is good for us

Ty Wiggington and Casey McGehee can play the infield corners and are a right handed power bat off the bench. Reed Johnson and Cody Ross can play all 3 outfield positions. Not sure Ross wants to be a 4th outfielder. Keppinger would be a great option.

A scary suggestion on another board was to trade Harang to the Angels for Vernon Wells for the fourth outfielder.
