What kind of return could we expect? I don't think we should trade revis or harris but for ***** and giggles.

Well I was interested in trading Revis in Madden, best I got was a third round pick. Anyone that plays Madden wanna give me a little insight why? I traded Holmes for a second.

Tebow will get a 5th at best.

Harris probably a 4th.

If Revis got traded for anything less than two firsts I would be super pissed off. Easily a hall of fame player and a perennial probowler. His injury makes him a tougher sell but I think he comes back super strong.

I dont think Revis would net more than a 1st - considering the contract he will receive, and coming off of injury.

I dont know man, there are very FEW players in the league that replace his abilities, and even FEWER on defense.

The ONLY Defensive players I would rather than Revis:


The ONLY Defensive players I would take and be fine with:
- JJ Watt
- Patrick Willis

(Disclaimer: I am going off the top of my head so there may be someone I forgot)

Offensive is a bit different, if we could net a Luck, RGIII, AJ Green, Julio Jones, Adrian Peterson, caliber player I MIGHT be Ok with it.

Revis is the stand out best player in his position in the league.

Any position which positively or negatively effects the passing game is a key one.

The injury makes him a gamble, but I'd want 2 first round picks for someone of this calibre. Why would we even consider a trade for less? What odds a first round pick gives us a better player than him? 1/100?

I got a 1st from Arizona, but that was the best I got when I attempted it. I actually got a 2nd from New England for Bart Scott.

While I do understand and appreciate what you are saying here, I just dont think we need a lockdown corner in Revis and cromartie. Our secondary is still top 7-8 without revis. I think if we had a solid OLB and go constant pressure like the giants or 49ers then it really wouldn't matter who is in the secondary. Im all for keeping Revis, but if the price is rite I think he goes.
