Cobb, Gyorko, and Crosby are very meh talents for me. Big overpays for all of them and I don't see Gyorko as a 2B.

OTOH, I would love that Boston trade, though that's because Boston gets bent over.

i actually like this mock the best of the ones that have been posted... now this isn't a WS contender but long term it would have been a great offseason....... too bad the salty trade and upton aren't happening

I'm glad that I was pretty darn close on Upton's deal and that the Keppinger deal could be a real possibility for us. I was thinking of Torii Hunter as a flippable piece, and the Barney and Soriano trade destinations look like they could be true as well.

That is a **** ton of turnover and the team isn't any better in the end.

I like it. Realistic long term gets my vote though because I don't see the short term lineup being that competitive.

I like the salty and upton pickups. I'm not big on Gyorko. I like the starting rotation. Bullpen seems weak, but who those are crapshoot so who knows. Bench is alright. I think this team could be competitive depending on the bullpen.

I like this one a bunch. Only qualm for me is I think Barney brings back more. I'm kind of hoping for Straily or Porcello straight up for him. But the general theme of short term deals fits, contracts seemed reasonable, etc. not a contender most likely in 2013, but I like the possibilities moving past that.

There's a large gap in production between Straily and Porcello. I would want more for the pop up A's arm that is Straily.

I do like this one more than the others, but I thought the return talent was a notch below expectation except in the Boston trade.
