Exactly how I feel. I'm not sure I trust Ichiro as a full time player at this point in his career. What if his #s revert to those in Seattle the last couple seasons.

I agree but to be honest, and this is strictly my opinion, I'd personally much rather watch Ichiro suck for $5 mil than stomach another moment of Cano's whiny, pouty, b#tchy, lazy play for much bigger money any day.

But then again, that's me venting against the fact that we have done nothing concerning the clown currently taking residence at 2nd.

Sweeny Murti of WFAN reports that a deal between the Yankees and Ichiro Suzuki is not done.

Nikkan Sports in Japan reported that Ichiro was set to re-sign with the Yankees on a one-year, $5 million deal (with incentives), but it's just a rumor for now. However, the 39-year-old outfielder mas made it clear that his preference is to stay in pinstripes.

I do not think Cashman is done with the outfield. I think there is a secret trade or signing waiting to happen (which I know will be Swisher ), and Ichiro will be more of a platoon hitter (remember, he was willing to accept that role before he got traded to us last summer).

I think there will be a right-handed bat heading our way. You heard it here first.
