Listen, I'm all for Amar'e being traded. I love the guy, but he's not exactly our #1 prized possesion right now... I mean with the bad knees, the contract, the poor d....the man leaves a lot to be desired for someone who gets paid 100m$ Still, Amar'e brought "The knicks back" and it's hard to see him go, if he does. IMO, this is the only plausible option. No one else will take the contract other than D'antoni and the lakers organization. They get a much more athletic team (depending on those knees) and get rid of cry baby gasol. D'antoni wants Amar'e just as much as he wants Nash.
The question is, do the numbers work?
