He is extremely cheap. Let me also fill in replies to my comment. Oh they are filling out the minor leagues. I just wonder when are they gonna address the major league talent level. Boycott the Mets in 2013. Its obvious the Wilpons are either too broke or too disinterested in running the team correctly. So in either case they need to sell the team.

    Why?
We already have Turner; Duda, and V-Spin as backup infielder depth, this made no sense.

They have no back up SS since Cedeno is gone.

    V-Spin can play SS.

He played there for less than 20 innings, and he's been in the majors for only a couple of minutes. Also, this move takes away valuable playing time from V-Spin. I don't think V-Spin is anything more than a bench player, however he still has upside and we may have a decent bat w/ speed and pop if he develops some patience. If we're going to suck this year, we might as well give the young guys ample opportunities to show what they can't or can do.

    Not really.
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

The OPS was pretty good from the SS and 2nd in Sacramento at .856 (but PCL numbers nonetheless) and 18 homers in 90 games certainly shows he has power.

A lot of strikeouts though 115 in 383 PA.

He is 27 years old too.

    Meh..

    SS/3B

He will likely be the guy that replaces Cedeno.

The Mets waste no time in countering the Evan Longoria deal.

Or was it the other way around????

It could be a good signing, he has some pop.

PCL or not, 18 homers in 90 games is pretty impressive.

He should fare well in Las Vegas.
