Polamalu practiced fully apparently. Would be neat to have him and DeCastro in there. Ben too![]()

He might be active, but there's no way he plays.
DeCastro I'm talking about
I don't think Suh was going for Schaub's balls, just Schaub in general. As Suh was going down he was looking right at Schaub, knew generally where Schaub was and tried to hit him. I'm sorry but you don't swing your leg or any limb out when you feel your body is falling out of control, you contort it in.

Looks like the line might actually be Starks-Pouncey-Legursky-Foster-Beachum if Colon still can't go. I personally love the Legursky and Pouncey switch. Pouncey isn't much better than Legursky at center, but Legursky is infinitely better at center than he is at guard. We'll see how it works.

You all better win this damn game.

Should be pointed out that David DeCastro was NOT on the practice injury report.
Maybe he'll start![]()

Decastro would help a lot
PSD's Penguins Fan of the Year 2013
Foster at RT then? He was there a bit in the preseason and wasn't awful. Starks-Pouncey-Legursky-DeCastro-Foster could be a pretty solid line.

We will lose and someone will be hurt seriously bad if Beachum plays... im really concerned about him. Its a safety issue. i dont want Ben to play if the coaches are seriously going to let Beachum start over DeCastro

Well aware of this.
The fact is if DeCastro is on the bench and Beachum is on the field they would be starting Beachum over DeCastro
How?
Because they didnt shuffle the oline at all to let DeCastro play
id go. Starks-Foster-Pouncey-DeCastro-Colon or Starks-Pouncey-Legursky-Foster-Colon.. id do anything to not have Beachum play. He was the worst olineman on our team in the preseason
I'm no doctor but I'd say that's a good reason not to play DeCastro.
And about Beachum, I didn't watch him that closely but Tomlin said that he represented himself well in Cleveland. Tomlin's not really one to give false praise. He had the one penalty on the opening drive then was quiet throughout the game, which is usually a good thing for an offensive lineman. Sure, he had a bad preseason. That was the preseason. Mike Adams had a horrendous preseason too, look how that turned out for him in the regular season.

Even if DeCastro isnt healthy enough to play yet. id still rather see Legursky then.
Yeahhh no, not even if DeCastro isn't healthy enough to play yet. Wait until he's 100%.
And again, injuries. Colon is out. Gilbert and Adams are out. DeCastro isn't ready yet. That leaves Starks, Pouncey, Foster, Legursky and Beachum as pretty much our only healthy linemen. It's really by default that Beachum is starting.
