If we were to move Wright and Dickey, what realistic packages would you drum up?

I for one, advocate for these.
Dickey and Santana(Mets eat the 25 mil salary for 2013) to Texas for Holland and Gentry
Wright to Cincinatti for Hamilton; Frazier, and Cingrani.
Mejia; Familia, Hefner, and Murphy to KC for Alex Gordon.

    SS - Hamilton
    2B - Tejada
    LF - Gordon
    1B - Ike
    3B - Frazier
    RF - Kirk
    CF - Gentry
    C - Stoppach/Thole

Bench - Duda; Baxter, V-Spin, Turner
Rotation - Niese; Holland, Gee, Harvey, and McHugh or Chris Young/Wheeler
Bullpen: Edgin; Francisco, McHugh, Parnell, Carson, and FA

Are those deals above fair for both parties, also how many games would that team realistically win? Last, what deals would you drum up for Wright and Dickey to improve the team? Do you have any deals that would improve the team which doesn't involve moving Niese; Gee, Harvey, Wheeler, Ike, Tejada, Wright, and Dickey?

I don't think the Gordon trade will fly. The Royals are talking to the Rays about Price. I don't think that package measures up to PRICE.

Mejia; Familia, Hefner, and Murphy to Minnesota for Span
    or
Mejia; Familia, and Murphy to the Angels for Bourjos

Not as good as Gordon, but both above average fielders w/ 20+ SB's, Span is locked up for a few years and proven while the Bourjos is a bit unproven

That's too much for Span or Bourjos.

Mejia and Familia have too much upside for either guy.

I thought Familia and Mejia were doubtful to be starters at the MLB level.
If not, is Hefner and Murphy a fair deal for Span?

    It's still early for both.

Familia looks more like he might end up in the bullpen if you had to pick between the two but he is still only 22 years old (same with Mejia)

Span did have a 4.8 rWAR last year, i don't think Hefner or Murphy is enough either.

I am honestly just not a huge fan of dealing young arms like that for an OF that don't bring much to the table.

Span is a good player but his peripherals don't jump out at anyone.

Could we get Gordon for Mejia; Familia, Murphy, and Hefner?

He has value but only to us. He was a reliable spot starter and long reliever. No trade value yes but def has the value as a contributed.

    Pretty much this..

Nobody is clamoring for a spot starter/reliever

It would take young arms to acquire Span, and i dont want to deal the likes of Tapia for him.

Every team has a Jeremy Hefner on their system, or in some cases guys that are better.

I rather have Frazier given he draws walks more, however throw Bourjos and Lindsay and I'd listen. I might ask for Carlos Ramirez(24 y/o defensive catcher, that would be MLB ready this year) as well, and the Angels can keep Kendrick.

This is a fun game. I'll go with my two original suggestions and then add a couple:

Dickey, Familia and Den Dekker to KC for Wil Myers and Jerrod Dyson
Wright to Cincy for Hamilton, Frazier and Cingrani
    Gee to Toronto for Arencibia
Duda, Murphy and Tapia to Tampa for Hellickson

    Lineup:
    Dyson - CF
Tejada - SS (Hamilton takes over in 2014, moving Tejada to 2B - with Valdy?)
    Valdespin - 2B
Myers - RF (too much pressure for a rookie?)
    Davis - 1B
Frazier - 3B (or Lutz, with Flores in the wings)
    Nieuwenhuis/Hairston - LF (Hairston must be re-signed)
    Arencibia - C

    Rotation:
    Santana (Wheeler in July)
    Niese
    Hellickson
    Harvey
Pelfrey (Cingrani ready for mid season or sooner)

    Bull Pen:
Francisco, Parnell, Edgin, Mejia, Armando Rodriguez, Hefner/McHugh, Carson/Byrdak, one new FA reliever

    Bench:
    Hairston, Lutz/Satin, Turner, Baxter, Thole

We'd have a killer team in 2014, with a possible 5 ace rotation.
