That's why I dislike having a 3rd QB on the roster so long when it's clear he's not going to be your backup (in our case, had Hill signed and he was a priority to re-sign when he was up. Stanton never had a chance here).

For as often as he throws the ball, it's amazing how little interceptions Stafford throws.

Also amazing how few TDs he's thrown this year considering the amount of times he's thrown the ball and our best player is a WR

Does anyone else think Chris Houston has been playing excellent?

As far as Stafford goes, I hate it when he overthrows his (somewhat) wide open receivers. I hate it with a passion. Earlier in the year, I was rooting for him to get benched for (the more efficient) Shawn Hill. I do think he's playing much better now, but did anyone else feel this same way?

No, never, unless he's displaying attitude problems like Young, you never, ever bench your 24 yr old Franchise QB who, while coming off one of the better seasons for any QB ever, is having a hiccup or two. The only way he'll work it out is in game time situations, not practice or watching Shaun Hill. Never, ever do that.

Almost to the point I want them to lose to improve the draft position...and to perhaps shed some light of TRUTH to the needs of this team. I'd hate for us to see a bit of a meaningless surge of wins at the end here, which do nothing for us besides hurt the draft position and gives Mayhew/Schwartz some spin on how the season really was. Always seems to have some way to spin things. Just don't want to see things swept under the rug at all.

It's kind of crazy Calvin is on pace to break a season yardage record, and a lot of Lions fans would say his play this year has been a bit off. Perfect example of how stats rarely tell the whole story.
