They have played and they have proved to be so inconsistent Rick pulls their mins back in favor for vets because they prove to be more consistent. The Mavs will always been in win mode unless they are mathematically out of the playoffs.

You say that...but then look at the vets Rick has played over them...Darren Collison? More consistent? In what universe? Derek Fisher was more consistent, just not in a good way. He was consistently terrible all the time.

there will probably be a lot of really hard decisions in the offseason.

we have a guy like Dirk with good years left, but all the other personnel on the team screams rebuild.

don't know what to do about Mayo, and there's a bunch of young guys on the team that need decisions to be made on about their future.
"When I go home people'll ask me, 'Hey Hoot, why do you do it man? What, you some kinda war junkie?' You know what I'll say? I won't say a goddamn word. Why? They won't understand. They won't understand why we do it.They won't understand that it's about the men next to you, and that's it. That's all it is."

It's all up to them (their future) and they're getting paid highly well so no mercy from my side. It's that easy. No one should worry, except for the players themselve and our coach.

It's up to them who will stay and who will be kicked. If mayo can play like he started this season, Kaman with at least 14/8, Brand like he did yesterday, Collison more consistent too... it's just a matter what we will do with Marion (because he is of value, but not a bad player) and guys like Carter.

However, no matter how this season will end, we didn't raise our attractiveness for free agents to sign with us - that's our main problem after we might have thrown another season into the trash can.

Once again: We let Chandler walk...he's playing great since then. Winning DOP and so on.
We let Kidd walk...his value for the Knicks is much higher than with us, even Felton profits. Letting Terry go... it's a tie so far. We signed and waived Fisher... Curry... Murphy... story continues.

If we changed nothing, we'd still be seed 5 or 6. We did change a lot but are we rebuilding? No! Are we doing anything (are we going anyhwere or are we at least improving anything???) besides saving up money under the cap? Does that makes ANY sense for a team like ours right now, as said being that atrractive for players? Congrats again, Cuban. Door closed.

Any chance to pry away Bledsoe from the Clippers?

He's good and would get more playing time in Dallas.

All signs point to LAC not moving Bledsoe before the deadline. Want to keep him as insurance just in case for some odd reason CP3 doesn't stay.
