What do Cheif fans think about Alex Smith?

Since Alex Smith is pretty much out the door in SF, and the Chiefs don't have a viaible option at QB i think for the type of offensive the Chiefs want to play Smith would be a good fit besides the fact he is better any other QB on the Chiefs roster along with the fact he is use to winning.

Smith is a game manager. You do have a solid run game with Charles so he maybe a viable option. I wouldn't expect him to put the team on his back but he won't lose too many games for you at the same time.

Smith to the Chiefs? It wouldn't be the first time the 49ers send the Chiefs their sloppy seconds. Will history repeat itself?

Do you pay a decent amount of money to a proven game manager or do you draft a rookie that has potential to turn into a top QB?

LOL, last time they got a backup QB who had limited success they ended up with Castlevania.

I'm not so sure about that. Maybe a few wins more, but their front office is a mess right now. I can't see them being this bad for long though as long as they keep the talent.

You do both. You need someone now to help the team other wise the coach will lose them.

They have had terrible QB play all season and have been in most of their game until the end a QB would help a lot

I'm not referring to any specific rookie, and I'm not only referring to the Alex Smith situation. Just generalizing for these scenarios.
