    The guy said this:

Colangelo has never been shy in moving players, but for whatever reason Calderon and Bargnani have remained immune.
The Bobcats deal shows that Jose is not immune.

I didn't see it that way. He was saying that BC loves them so much that he would never consider trading them. At least that is how I saw it.

i guess. i saw it as "he hasn't tried hard enough to move them because they are still here".

Here, I'll give you 100 bucks for your car.

Strikes me those might be the kind of offers a GM of a struggling team with semi-desirable assets gets.

It's not a question of TRYING to sell your car, it's a question of being lowballed, and saying **** that.

I'm fine with this logic. But the salesman needs to sell the car before training camp next year or I'd be looking for a new salesman.

Edit: He actually needs to sell the car by the trade deadline IMO. Need more time to assess the value of the other cars in the lot prior to next off-season.

these aren't cars though. these are players. and there is a school of thought that sometimes it is worth it to settle in your selling price in order to move on or move in a new direction.

in my opinion that's the criticism the article of the author was leveling, and i have no problem with it.

but i'm not sure both need to go. i think a boat can handle one leak far better than two.

If you can't move AB for a fair deal then bench his *** and play Ed... At the end of the day its about WINNING and not catering to your 'superstars' (AB)!!!

i can support that although my preference is not to trade him. but Ed Davis needs to play more.

I also saw an article about this online about how they tested him and everything.

The test led them to believe he had a killer instinct.
