Deron Williams a fringe top 7 PG. That's a joke. Outside of CP3 nobody is a clear cut step ahead of Williams when healthy. People just want to ignore the fact that he needs surgery on his ankle and a jammed wrist that he's hurt almost every single game this year.

Carmela Anthony is a top 3 SF. Raymond Felton is a cup-cake loving fat@ss that can't make an open shot to save his life. JR Smith would rather turn down an open lay-up and run around for a contested 3 with 20+ left on the shotclock in a close game. Tyson Chandler can't do much outside of getting putbacks.

Even with Shumpert and your fire extinguisher hating PF back, there's problems. Shump plays great D but is limited on offense. Amare is clearly not what he once was, and he will never learn to play with Mela.

So let's see. With our two best players struggling, we still beat you. How embarrassing is that?
Actually he has been pretty bad the last 2 years. Ever since he left Utah you would be hard pressed to make case for him being a top 5 PG. The competition at the PG position is too stiff nowadays for Deron to still have his top 5 pg crown locked based on rep alone

He has not been a top 10 player while a Net nor a top 5 PG

Sig bet with FriedTofuz or whatever his name is (I'm on my phone so it's too tedious to go find his exact name) that if the Nets lose to the Raptors I will delete my account and if the Raptors lose he will delete his (lol Raptors fans are so cute).

The fact that you called Felton a fat *** is sad. You need to get a life. Too much hatred towards people you don't know.

The number of Heat and Nets fans on here bashing the Knicks is hilarious.... y'all stay mad.

We'll enjoy having a relevent team again in the playoff mix. FTW.

I used to argue that Dwill was the best or 2nd best pg for years. However, I think Rondo is easily the 2nd best pg now behind cP3. I got Deron 3rd, because of his lowered efficiency over the past two years, but I expect him to play better.

I'm just abut the biggest Rondo fan in the world, but even I know fully well Williams is the better all round player.

Rondo is just a more unique player, with his hustle and pass-first mentality, his rebounding, hands and amazing court vision and feel for the game (and ability to make the most absurd plays seem natural, much like Manu can).

Rondo is by far a more crafty player, but Williams is just more well rounded. A better shooter and as a bigger scoring threat, he is more consistent.

But when Rondo has a big game, he impacts the game in more ways than any perimeter player not named LeBron. But just as easily he can disappear completely.

Rondo is just a fascinating creature because of his limitations, it's really hard to measure him against his peers, because his game is just so different.

It's really a matter of what you value most in a playmaker.

He is still fourth behind CP3, DWill and Parker, in any case.

I'm a big fan of Deron, but I dunno, Rondo just seems to be superior in terms of efficiency and playmaking. Deron is a better scorer and shooter no doubt, but Rondo's rebounding, assists, steals, defense, etc. is all seemingly better than Deron.

Deron with the Jazz... absolute beast, you can make an argument that he was the best pg in the NBA during his last couple years there. Since he's gone to the Nets, his numbers have dropped significantly. I think that'll all change once he gets used to playing with JJ, but right now I'd take Rondo. Deron with the Nets is shooting sub 40% from the field since getting there. I think injuries have a lot to do with that, but Rondo's apg are far superior, and he turns it over less.

Right now I'd go with Rondo, but if Deron goes off like he did in Utah, then that can change my opinion pretty quickly
