Will Chad Henne be the starter next year?

Simple question.. do you guys think Henne is the guy for us going forward?

I think yes, I was all for drafting geno smith but after these past two weeks i think chad is developing a rapport with blackmon and shorts which can only mean good things for the offense and the team. if we can improve the oline and running back positions (maybe mjd remedies that) this offense has the potential to be at least average next year.

blackmon and shorts appear to be developing into a nice receiver tandem and they both continue to make plays with henne at qb. henne gives them a chance and they are making the most of the opportunities.

maybe henne can turn out like another former michigan qb who got the job due to an injury and ran with it (a guy by the name of brady)
    haha we can only hope

Depends on what Henne does the rest of the year. If he continues his good play, I think we definitely stick with him.

Someone had to do it lol. But no that's not my serious choice. I think Henne starts next year if he wins, if not, then I think they battle it out. But the poll just didn't look right without someone voting for that option lol.
Nothing to see here, move along.

I think it depends on three big games this year: Jets, Patriots and Dolphins (all AFC East i know).

I see it as this. The Jets still have a great defense and if we can move the ball on them, our defense should shut down that offense and be a great victory for what has been a struggling offense.

The Dolphins are an up and coming team. They have a strong defense that could give us fits and thier offense is clicking with Bush and Tannehil. A win could show that, with Henne, we are able to compete and maybe even be considered an up and coming team. Plus moral victory for Henne.

And the Patriots. I dont know the last time we beat them. They are mentioned in the top 3 or 4 of the AFC and should be superbowl contenders. Henne knows them well adn if the offense holds its own it could be a coming up game.

Not saying we have to win all three, but if Henne shows he can make us competitive against these teams, he should be first in line next season.

It's his job to lose. But he can't be inconsistent like he was in Miami. That will open the door for another rookie QB.

And I don't think there's a better guy in the draft really (as sad as that is)

    I wouldn't mind taking a QB in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th round in the 2013 draft.
