There is no way this team will have the big crazy superstar laden outfield you expect because they are the Yankees and it is the "Yankee way" If you really expect that then you are in for a rude awakening come next off season. As I said - I'd go to war with that. Granderson is nothing but a 7 hitter to us if he doesn't hit the ball, he swings so hard he falls over.

I'm done in talking hypothetical's based on the past. Granderson will not get traded to the Nats. He could get traded to Texas for Mike Olt once Hamilton Bolts. Promise you that.

I read Ichiro and his agent havent heard from the Yankees in a week. Ichiro's agent is no longer waiting on the Yanks for an offer. Makes me wonder if a trade is brewing?

Im not sold on Upton. The specs we would have to give up (and we may not have what az would want) would be too much. Even if they do make a trade I still want Ichiro back.

Tony Attanasio, the agent for Ichiro Suzuki, told the New York Post that he "doesn't care what the Yankees do" and that they're "talking to several clubs".

This could just be a bargaining ploy, as a week ago they declared publicly that Ichiro's preference was to remain with the Yankees. It still seems like a one-year marriage between the two sides is the most likely scenario.
