Uh oh...The Yankees and Alex Rodriguez are concerned the third baseman’s surgically repaired right hip is damaged.
According to a person with knowledge of the situation, Rodriguez recently visited Dr. Marc Phillippon in Colorado after experiencing tightness in the hip that Phillippon operated on in 2009.
“It’s an issue,’’ the person said. “A big issue.’’
Like normally, the Post was to be sensational and the article goes on to speculate that if A-Rod needs surgery on the hip, he would miss the beginning of the season etc...
Yep. He will eventually be unable to play and the yanks will buy him out to go away or do a bobby Bonilla deal for 40 years.

Statistics are used much like a drunk uses a lamppost: for support, not illumination.
Arod will have surgery and miss part of the season according to multiple reports. Jeff Keppinger anyone?
All I keep reading that the Yanks will probably pursue Stephen Drew.
This under the $189 is going to kill us.
Next thing they will say Nunez will be there everyday 3rd basemen. Ugh!!!
Don't get me wrong, I am all for lower payroll.
Just don't see how we will improve are need without spending.
We don't have anybody in the minor leagues to step it up and I'm not convinced that Nunez could do the job. He might hit ok but on the field I can't watch.
