    Yes.

I would prefer Ichiro as a 4th outfielder as well. I had said that yesterday. He was willing to take a platoon role when we traded for him, so Cashman can make a trade for a RF.

Problem is..The bullpen is currently the least of our concerns. Now and going forward.

    We have more pressing issues.

Wow! Padres offered Kuroda 1 year $18M. LOL!!!

The Padres offered Hiroki Kuroda a one-year deal worth $17-18MM, reports George A. King III of The New York Post. The right-hander instead took a one-year, $15MM deal to return to the Yankees.

Pretty clear Kuroda wants to play in a competitive market

Kuroda would be beastly pitching in PETCO though

I'd rather Get Soria to be honest with you. He already said he would like to set up for MO and he's pretty darn good if he stays healthy and having a year of MO grooming him? Will only help him and he won't cost prospects. Also I could see him us getting him for cheap. For a 2-3 year deal, then after the whole 189, if he's been really good..we can pay him closer money.

    Robertson, Joba, Soria, Rivera.

Yeah I'm into Soria, but the Yankees are not looking for 2-3 year deals.. If Soria wants to do a 1 year deal and prove he is healthy then fine. But something tells me Soria does not need to settle for that..

If he can be had on a 1-2 year deal with team options for 2nd/3rd year? You wouldn't sign up for that..if he came cheap with his potential?

I think a 2 year deal would be good, because then it would cover him through 2014 when we are looking to get under 189. Then 2015 we could re-sign him to closer money if he is healthy and worth it.

2014 is something we should worry about as fans. There are going to be a lot of holes in this team after this year. A LOT.

Lot of holes every year. Mgmt is a lot smarter than us. I'm sure they have a plan.
