Despite having to be carried off the court by two of his teammates after injuring his left ankle with :23 seconds left in Milwaukee’s 93-86 loss to Chicago on Saturday, Brandon Jennings says he will play Monday when the two teams meet again.

“Yes I will,” said Jennings, who met reporters while seated at his locker with an ice bag wrapped around his foot.

Chicago held an 89-85 lead when Jennings says he came off a pick and rolled his ankle as he was turning to go to the basket. He immediately fell to the floor in obvious pain along the left baseline.

Samuel Dalembert and Drew Gooden carried him off the floor with both feet dangling inches above the court.

“It’s not broke, so I’ll be playing for sure next game,” said Jennings. “It’s probably like a light sprain or something like that. But it’s really sore right now, ice it up and get ready to go tomorrow.”

Thnk god he is okay.

Although part of me wants some of you ppl to see Monta Ellis play the point for a few games so they can see just how bad things would be with Jennings out and Monta at the point.

Some people are so dumb, in another forum everybody kept freaking out saying he was done for the whole season. Like, did you see the replay? It was a very minor ankle roll, he will be good by tomorrow.

I would say it's way to early to tell. Then again your a little more pessimistic than most when it comes to the Bucks...

I wouldn't say same ol Bucks just yet. I think Skiles just called a bad game saturday, he needs to play who is hot. Henson and Dalembert should have played at least one minute. Joel is the worst player on our team, and he played a lot.

Very true am I'm sorry but like you I am not content with losing year after year there's no excuse. I think we've actually been pretty good this year outside of ersan skiles and Larry fouling but he's shown major improvement at least

I really think this team plays better with Sanders at the center. Dalembert is a shell of his former self. He isn't even defending well.

Henson is such a stud. Can't wait til he starts over Ersan in two years.
