Sorry, Tony! You sound like a Yankee fan to meLet's go back a few more years--like almost 60. I am and have been a Giants' fan for that long. You probably would have liked the notion floated in the 1960s, when rumors out of New York had Mantle being traded for Willie Mays! Please stay on the Yankees forum. Then maybe you can be Cashman's assistant after all

I feel very confident that Emmanuel Burriss will never amount to anything at the MLB-level. The guy is a scrub. He's got speed, but is horrible on the base paths and has a very low baseball IQ. For a guy with hardly enough pop to get the ball out of the infield, those aren't good traits to posses.

Uncle Tony is a giants fan. Swear
WTF ahahhahah
2010/2012 WORLD CHAMPIONS
Very disappointed that Burriss never became the player that the giants FO envisioned him to be. They hoped like hell, but it just didn't come into fruition. Giants gave him a ton of opportunity, he will most be remembered for the diving play during Randy Johnson's 300th win.
Some of the most entertaining days on this message board was the Frandsen vs Burriss discussions.

Why? So you can just Google up the answer? Anyways, I'm glad that you're finally being exposed as the troll you are. Being upset about wasting the great Emmanuel Mays talents even after winning two world series titles in three years is absolutely ridiculous. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when you said that he had 20/20 potential when he couldn't even hit the ball past the pitchers mound.
We should have tried to see if the Burris for Bautista deal was still on the table before we let him walk...
San Francisco Giants Trophy Wall
Burriss could do 20/20 if we're talking Errors/Singles
Close thread?
^that.
Agreed.

I will never forgive the Giants for letting future Hall of Famer Todd Wellemeyer go
Baseball is over. My softball league is over. I am now officially depressed...
