    I may be an idiot...who is EOF??
    That said....everyday players like Justin Upton are worth more than pitchers. Pitchers get hurt, have higher bust potential, and only go out to the field every 5 days...when you are talking about 5 tool, young, controlled everyday players that have proven themselves in the past---then they are definitely worth two prospects of any sort

    Being he is due to make 3.8-4M i think this deal makes it a good chance he is moved for just a minor leaguer.

    Looks like Ryan Sweeney is going to be non-tendered by Red Sox. If we actually snag Justin Upton we'll be in the market for a lefty outfield bench bat. He seems like a fine pickup for that.

    I think this is our plan. We save 8 million and our BP is basically the same and then we can use the prospects from EOF to get Justin.
