We need Justin, even if it means moving Simmons and re-aquiring Yunel Escobar, who the Marlins want to move.

Thi$ is wrong on all levels. Wren has stated today that Simmons is going no where in any deal. So any trade scenario involving him can go to rest.

Alex gordon? Yes. We could at least inquire on him.

If you want a team that lies and go through their players like its nothing, go be a Marlins fan.
Actually I do not think you are correct in assuming this is common sense! If a player is freely willing to play where they are needed, then this can make things much easier with the teams future needs. Sometimes players are hung up on the position they play and can get downright nasty about changing things. While it is very safe to assume that the Braves intend for BJ to play center-field now, and that the Braves may be seeking a Left Fielder!... it could be important down the line if a better options is needed/available in Center. One of the key reasons the Braves signed BJ is that he has enough power to profile in a corner-outfield position in the latter part of his five-year contract, if necessary.

I am not sure how you can say the front office has ever lied to BJ regarding any of this! Nore why a fan of the Braves needs to switch teams, simply because he asks for a link to information you have tried to quote!

The Braves have signed catcher Matt Pagnozzi to a Minor Lg. contract. Pagnozzi will likely serve as ATL's backup until McCann returns.
That means Bethancourt won't be rushed, that's a good thing.

Thats all great, but like i said, Part of the braves pitch was that he would be THE CF. They didn't say " Hey can you play LF, because that's where we wanna put you if we cant get a good enough CF to play in your spot." i never said they lied to him. He played LF in ONE game, and that was literally 6 years ago. It really doesn't make sense to sell a guy a perfect pitch, and turn right around and do something you told him you wasn't gonna do. While i believe he is capable of playing left, that's not why he signed to come her. That was the whole debate, not whether he could play left, or if they could move him to left. The debate was if the braves would move him to left in the same offseason that they signed him to play CF, and i said that wouldnt be a smart move.

#Braves have had good discussions w/ OF Reed Johnson for bench job. He's interested, but also seeing what other offers he'll get.

#Braves GM Wren said team could cover backup 1B with players they have, don't feel have to get another backup for that.
