Should the Royals trade Wil Myers?

id love to work out a deal for myers. A's have an abundance of pitching.

From the sounds of it Jeremy Hellickson is available, because he refuses to be a team player and sign a lop sided team friendly deal, offense is something they have to improve on and they don't have much in the way of good hitting minor leaguers, they are loosing a starting OF, and they really don't have anyone to fill that spot, so trading Hellickson to fill that hole wouldn't be that bad of an idea.

Well they could trade for a leftfielder as well, Jennings could play center if asked

Yeah, it's pretty rare. Other than the Montero for Pineda swap.



He was horrible these past 2 years. He pitched 150.2 innings of 5.30 ball in 2011, then 149.2 innings of 6.07 ball in 2012. He hasn't pitched very good since A+. He did decent in AA in 2010.




Hosmer and Moustakas did good this past year, but they're he only ones o the several prospects that were supposed to be very good. But only time will tell.

Hosmer did not do good this year .232 .304 .359 .663 stat line is pretty **** to me. But I'd still take the kid any day

but he can't play center field. You have Reddick in right, Cespedes in Left, and for the now chris young in Center, though don't the A's have Micheal Choice?

I'm going to just go with no. There's obviously a handful of players (a couple pitchers) in the league that you do it for, but generally speaking you need to be very careful.

This is from someone who thinks we generally overrate the crap out of prospects, and I might be guilty of it right here. If he gets them into the David Price conversation then go for it, but a high end prospect is something you are a little more careful with.

It would be awesome if the Mets traded for him. He's just what we need in our lineup.

I would trade Dickey + prospects or Niese + prospects...only untouchables are Harvey/Wheeler.

shields is too old, unless they are getting a real ace like Price, i don't see why they would want him, plus he is 2 years from free agency, a guy like hellickson or moore are good young pitchers they can hold on to for a while and compete with simultaneously,
