Does anyone work at a golf course?

I work at a prestigious course in NJ doing grounds and I'm going to school for Turfgrass Maintenance at Rutgers to continue being in this field when I'm older. Does anyone work at a golf course doing grounds maintenance?

You need to do some research. It's actually a pretty good paying job.

But no, I don't work at a golf course

If you know what you're doing, Turfgrass Management can be a pretty lucrative field. And really, to be good, you have to get some serious schooling.

My brother's about to graduate with a degree in hospitality management and a focus in Professional Golf Management. He's a PGA professional, and he's going to teach in Dallas/Fort Worth starting next year. Give it ten years, and I wouldn't be surprised if you guys start hearing of him. He knows his ****...he just needs to get a shot teaching an average pro.

I was on the grounds committee at my course this past year it's intense just being on the committee yet alone work there. Mad respect for Turf specialists. We had a scholarship outing every year for people who work at the club. The 2nd in command guy got it two years in a row to go get his degree over the winters and then signed a 4 year contract to work for the club after he got his degree.

Come to psd where admitted dupes who do nothing but troll the gd and fs forum are free. But man don't you dare mention trolling on someone's wall.

have fun working at a mcdonalds making $6.50 an hour after you realize how impossible it is to make it to the NBA. once that kicks in, you'll remember me telling you time and time again that i'll have a $30,000 salary as a 22 year old.

    hop off.

it's an intense program. this up coming week is my last week of classes and then the following week i have about 13 finals to take in 5 days. i've had to take 18 classes over the course of 10 weeks so just imagine the stress i've had these past few months.

it's totally worth it though. you have to love what you do, and i ****ing love what i do. it's not for everyone, and it's a lot of material to understand and study, but i love it. it's just so different and i love being different.

back in '91-'94 i worked at golf course as maintenance crew. cut greens, changed pin placements, cut rough, raked bunkers, trimmed bunkers, and got plenty of free golf as well.
    Cheers,
