Well we were never going to make the playoffs anyways. So we didn't really blow anything.
Forgot to mention the injuries our opponents were facing at the time as well, should have been keys for some victories as well, one being Indiana without Granger for example. Let's just hope for some exciting ball the next couple of weeks, maybe we can steal some wins back our way. I really want to see us compete at the highest level, unbareable to watch some quarters we play.
They blew the opportunity to carve out some space for themselves in the market place, with the leafs gone. That's for sure.
The season is long and the east is pretty bad after the top 6-7 so it's not hopeless to be in the hunt if this team can turn it around and play like they did in pre season and first couple games.
But they did blow a big opportunity to grab some more new fans with the NHL being locked out and a couple good rookies coming in. The worst part for me is already this early in the season and I'm losing interest and I'm a die hard fan, I don't think I've ever been more excited for a season to start and at the same time I don't think I've ever stopped caring so quick. Casey to me is the biggest disappointment, along with our bench which was I thought our 2 biggest strengths.
Tank nation baby! Lmao
Things will always work out in the end, but if you want them to turn out a certain way... You need to make it happen.
Yeah except we have no pick
another 'blown opportunity' to add to the books.
The worst is yet to come. Looooong road trip coming up. Aside from one game at home against the Suns, we have to go up aginst some tough opponents...
