    Worst MLB Ballpark Experience

We've all been to a game supporting our team at an away venue where we encounter idiotic fans, unfriendly stadium staff, outrageous parking/food prices. What has been your worst MLB stadium experience?

For me i would say Busch Stadium in St. Louis. My White Sox had a 3 game series back in mid-june with the Cardinals and we decided to road trip down there for all 3 games. The first 2 games of the series were decent with no problems with the fans or anything of that nature...but then came game 3. it started with us just getting out of cars at one of the parking garages about 2 blocks from the stadium. we got out and we were greated by a car flying by us, laying on their horn and yelling out the window "go back to Chicago you f'n *******!" we get to the stadium and while we're sitting down watching BP, a vendor approaches us and says "south side of Chicago, eh? Low-Class of Illinois"..my buddy turns to him and says "its actually more cleaned up then it used to be"..the vendor then whispers "bull*****" under his breath and walks off. Then came the actual game, which we had no problems. But after the game was a different story. White Sox lost 5-3 and we havent even stepped a full foot out the stadium gate and we get the typical phrase 'hey, have a safe trip to Chicago b!tches!'....but then came the parking garage...we're parked on the 3rd floor and supposedly all the 'hardcore' cardinal fans gather up on the top floor and yell at everyone that walks by and what not. So we get near the stairs and we here 'hey a$$holes, up here!'...and down came a nice beer shower on us. All this just because we decided to wear White Sox gear to a Cardinal game. Stay Classy St. Louis.

I was at the Yankees game where the A's blew a 4-run lead in the 13th inning.... ****ing Yankee fans were giving me hell the rest of the game. That was probably the worst day of my life

I went to Baltimore and the only time I had a problem was when the Orioles fans behind us, screamed, hooting and hollering at every single small *** thing the Orioles did right, and the worst part was the small girl screaming at the top of her lungs in her hyper high pitched scream. I heard some snickering when we shot them looks.

Red Sox hit a home run and I turn around and just start SCREAMING in their faces. The parents were pissed and eventually left. Swept them that series too.

But that was seriously the only thing that was wrong. I love the Stadium and 99.9% of the fans were great.

The only MLB stadiums I've been to as a visiting fan are wrigley and the cell. Both were pretty civil experiences.

When the Cubs suck it's a lot more civil. When they're good there's usually one drunk idiot.

It's the same way at miller park for visiting fans though. The majority of fans are nice, but there are drunk *******s everywhere.

I was at Irish Heritage day at Citi Field 2 years ago and the Mets were playing the Phillies. I was sitting in the Pepsi Porch and there was a sea of Philly fans. Being that New York and Philly fans don't get along too well, fights broke out, beers were thrown, etc...

It was not only my first game sitting in the Pepsi Porch, but it was one of the little brothers (5 years old) first games. The really sad thing about it was when security came, it was almost only Mets fans being escorted out.

It couldn't have been worse than this though... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9W_k_zwaoXA

No major issues and I have been to about 6 stadiums outside of my hometown. I have worn Tiger gear and never got more than some good natured ribbing.

Worst thing I saw was in Chicago were some guy was drunk and threw up on a chick in front of him. The girlfriends boyfriend turned around and decked him and 3 of his buddies proceeded to whale on this drunk guy until security showed up. Really? Took 4 of you to beat up a 170 lb drunk? Outside of that, I have enjoyed all parks I have been to (Cellular, Turner Field, Jacobs field, PNC, Wrigley, Miller)

"Dodger Stadium." Classic so cal landmark venue with great sightlines and retro feel. Not for everyone but beautiful ballpark, and far superior to Angel Stadium, one of the corniest stadiums in sports.

"Need I say more?" Yes, we'd appreciate it.

"Scum." Real classy. Calling people scum. Shows more about your character than anything else.

P.S....nothing ever goes wrong at Angel Stadium, right? Oh wait...

Man dies after fight at Angel Stadium on opening day
ANAHEIM, Calif. -- A man involved in a fight at Angel Stadium on opening day has died.

Police said Brian Powers, 27, of Buena Park, Calif., died Wednesday at a hospital. No arrests have been made.

Angels spokesman Tim Mead said the fight occurred Monday night shortly after the game between the Los Angeles Angels and Oakland Athletics. Witnesses told police the man was fighting with someone when a third person came from behind and punched the victim in the head. The man fell and hit his head on a concrete step near a stairwell.

Police are unsure what led to the fight and who started it.

The Cell wasn't that bad for the Cubs/Sox series. Only saw a few fights.
