I agree with everything Jeffy stated.

I also would like to see Clemens and Bonds go in as a slap in Selig's face. He turned the other way and ignored the players use of PED's, to save the league. Then when MLB had the fan support, he threw all those players under the bus.

Please. There were MANY other factors that contributed to the offensive boom of the 90s as well.

There is a long list of current HOFers in all sports who took things that may today be considered "cheating" to gain a competitive edge.

Or, we instead realize that it's a part of baseball history, just like every other era of baseball history, and the museum in Cooperstown shouldn't just magically ignore it.

When you can tell me for certain what players never took PEDs in their lifetime, then I would be happy to pick and choose for the sake of judgment for Cooperstown.

But we don't know, so we shouldn't punish speculative players. We also, have a huge history of questionable cheaters in the hall of fame already.

Man that's tough. There's 11-12 guys I could vote for and should be in the HoF. And the worst part is I doubt more than 2-3 will actually get voted in. It's a shame. I had to leave Lofton off my vote but I think he deserves to be in as well.

Vic Mackey: You better figure out how much you hate me. And how you're going to deal with that. 'Cause I'm not going anywhere.

This sums up every sports interview, ever.

    Yup.

    I had the same issue.

I left Trammell off in favor of Lofton, and they are my two most borderline choices. I think these two, and nine others belong in.

I wonder if Piazza and Biggio (maybe Bagwell too) are the only one's that get voted in this year

I think if Bonds top 55%, he will get in in either 2014 or 2015.

If he is under 40%, then it could be awhile. I think he and Clemens eventually get in regardless.

It's going to be sad if the HOF inducts Morris before guys like Bonds. They should just get rid of it if they aren't going to put the right guys in. It's not a HOF without Bonds in it

As long as the numbers remain infallible, anything goes. Just don't mess with the Holy Numbers.

After three posts like this, how this is anything short of trolling?

You keep making an argument that nobody is, at all.

I find it interesting that they get under your skin as much as they do. Think I've hit a nerve, perhaps?

Oh please. If anything threatens your ability to use anything but numbers to determine anything, as the steroid era does, you circle the wagons. Just admit it and move on.
