The thing is if we miss the playoff we will end up getting screwed and the pick will be all OKC. Get rid of the guys thats been here for a long time because they are who they are. Andrea is who he is so is calderon. Derozan is improving so I'd keep him around. Unless he nets us a young star which he probably won't.

One word: alpha. That's the risk you take when your PG is an alpha. Everyone loves them, until their suspect decision making costs the team games.

i really think we just need a fresh vision at the top. the new GM won't have the same attachment to the current group so it would likely result in a drastic shakeup to the roster as well.

but hopefully we can use his expiring, if not at least we unloaded Novak's deal...

    Right on.

I see in Lowry the seed of TJ Ford, Mike James, Bayless.

    Champs will be champs...

yes and no. lowry is much more talented than any of the aforementioned. he takes gambles but the reward is worth the risk IMO.

It doesn't mean he is not more talented than the other three PGs. But I see in him the same mentality. Skills? Yes. IQ? Not necessarily. Players like him need to learn to use their brain more and not play pure on adrenaline. This is the difference between Lowry's style and Chris Paul style. Chris Paul keeps his alpha instinct in check and this makes him way better in running the offence.

One more thing Lowry is prone to gaining weight, this spells extra-trouble for TO.

Let's trade our entire team for Kevin Durrant, just have Kevin be the only Raptor, let him play 1vs5 he can do it

Like last night with an invisible SG, raps played 4 vs 5 basketball, some nights they played 3 vs. 5 and their are moments in the game that they are on 2 vs. 5.

    So it's a possibility.

But it would be nice for a Val/Durant and Lowry with AAU players team. It's cheaper and I bet we can be a .500 team again .
