I think they'll sign Ryan Dempster at the winter meetings.

I think they will sign a bench guy or possibly make a small trade for one. Unless we make a trade I dont really see anything happening for a week or two after the winter meetings. Im going to say we sign Chone Figgins, he would be a great addition in my opinion.

Via Haudricourt, it sounds like both parties are interested but Dempster wants 3 yrs and Melvin doesn't want to sign any pitching beyond 2 yrs.

Im hoping Depmster, Howell, maybe another bullpen piece, and a bench piece at this moment, and some small trades that could give us some depth in the pen. Id be 100% okay with that. I still have a feeling Gomez will be gone soon though. These next few days should be interesting.

I'll be pissed if Gomez gets traded. I feel like he was just coming into his own late last year. I'm excited to see what he can do this year.

Yeah ive backed Gomez since the end of last year when he heated up. Hes one of my favorite players. But i want whats best for the team, whatever is going t help us win.

Gomez can't be traded, he's still cheap and coming into his own, leave the OF alone.
