Yankees southpaw Andy Pettitte will reportedly decide if he’ll continue his playing career by the end of next feel, according to CBS Sports’ Jon Heyman:

Pettitte was drafted by the Yankees in the first round of the 1990 draft. He has spent the majority of his 17-year career with the team and is the MLB’s all-time leader in postseason wins (19). After months of speculation, Pettitte announced his retirement in February 2011. He returned as a guest instructor for the Yankees during spring training in 2012 and then signed a minor league contract with the team worth $2.5 million.
