I think the stats say Manning easy, but context drags it a little closer IMO. Still say Manning, but I don't think arguing for Brady is the worst thing either.

EDIT: Just looked it up, Sorgi played in four games that year, so I'm guessing that's four fourth quarters. If Manning had played those and they were still agressive, he probably could have ended up with like 55 TD's
No. Projection is not proof or fact but speculation.

The result is all that matters in this comparison.

It's more than extra credit, both Brady and Manning have QB Rating grades in the 7-8 point better range indoors rather than outdoors. That sweeps away Mannings year since so many of those games were in a Dome (9) and in friendly weather sites.

Brady played 2 games in Domes, and after game #6 when Morris was out for the season, had almost no running game at all (got killed in TOP and ran 5 less plays per game after). Before game 11 in Philly Brady was playing at a rate well past Manning. The weather got really ugly in most of the rest of the games that year. So adjusting the weather effects of Dome vs not Dome, Brady would come up to about 1.5-2 QB Rating points above Manning. Rate+ always sees Brady ahead of Manning

It's either a push or Brady is a bit ahead.

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”

Peyton Manning played more games while the earth's axis was 4 degrees more towards true north throwing off his passes by .03% to the left.

True but bags will tell you that Brady is much more endowed and its a miracle he can even walk. Soo that cancels out that. All kidding aside though for a quick sec. Brady just had a better year. The Job of a QB is to make points and win games. A near perfect season trumps Manning.

Could it be the viagra that Marshall was talking about? I mean Marshall did see Brady x2 a year when he was with the finns.

Its pretty simple. Brady had no talent around him. Manning was carried by the team around him. Brady plays great outside Manning played sub par in a dome. End of story.

    Are you ****ing serious?

NE had the 4th ranked defense.

Randy ****ing Moss, Wes Welker, and arguably the best pass blocking line.

Peyton Manning had the 29th ranked defense....

    Edge, Wayne, Harrison.

    Next argument please.

Not one of those guys that played for the Pats came close to the talent of Edge, Wayne, Harrison. The Pats D was only ranked 4th because of the leadership of Brady. This is one of those cases that the QB made the D better.

Ok I guess i have to explain it cause you simply dont understand how a QB as great as Brady who puts up the points the Pats did help the D. The Pats D was able to play with a lead. Brady made those points and directed the O to those points. Manning did little to help his teams. He handed the ball off to a RB better than anything Brady ever had.

All Manning did was handoff the ball? I guess a higher touchdown % and Y/A is just handing the ball off? Yeah for sure Brady made them get after the quarterback so well and force so many turnovers. Brady is practically a 12th defender.... If anything Brady should have impeded their yards against stat because the offense scored so much the other team is forced to pass more. But it didn't BECAUSE THEY HAD A GREAT DEFENSE.
