I have never seen a horror movie that was intended to be scary perform more poorly. How many ****ing times are horror films going to use children and children drawing pictures as a plot device? IT IS NOT SCARY.
I could rant about how bad the movie was for a decade. Instead, I'll just have to state that there is no sense of tension, the scares are few and far between while creating no sense of tension whatsoever, and it's just not a very good film at all. Very disappointed as I had high hopes for it.
I don't know what it is with Christopher Nolan but I just love his movies. Memento and obviously the Dark Knight trilogy. This and Memento have terrific endings and i loved Christian Bale in this, also great to Scarlet Johanssen any time. lol
