Interesting, hard to get a gauge, I know talks went cold early in month but doesn't seem like anyone is aggressively pursuing him and maybe we are in the mix. I don't know what to think, I think 130m seems really cheap for him and would be ecstatic if he came here at that price.

So i was listening to an ex GM on Brock and Salk show and wow he likes Napoli said that Napoli can hit you 30 bombs while Swisher is great in the regular season he drops off significantly in the post season lol.

Sure Napoli can hit 30 bombs and get on base. And I like his versatility. But I think we see the 2012 version more than the 2011 version.

I'd be fine on a 3 year deal, but he just scares me at 4 for some reason

$26 a year for Hamilton? Ehhh.

I'd do 5/120, maybe 5/125 if there were no other options such as Swisher or Butler. But much more than that... Unless they really plan on opening up payroll.

If they are thinking around $85-90M like they are reporting, I think Hamilton eats up too much of that. If they are willing to go up to $100M or so, then go ahead and pay him. As long as we can make other moves and Ham doesn't lock us up too much.
