Agreed, the upgrade of Swisher over Blanco is much higher than Scutaro over Arias. I also really like Blanco as a pinch hitter/runner and the 4th OF.

This contradicts the other tweet about Giants considering Swisher a big ticket item.
I thought the same thing. Baggs is really bugging me with his negativity and ****. It seems like he is just saying things to keep fans following him on twitter at this point. How could you say this and then like 3 hours later say he is a big ticket item. it pisses me off.

10 games out in the AL East behind the Yankees and Orioles isn't in the race. We were actually tied for the division when he came here. He did nothing but not hit. Point proven right now. Some guys are just winners. Some guys aren't. He doesn't fit our team at all. And he isn't very good. Numbers lie. Winners show up when it matters. Example) Tim Lincecum. When the games are on the line and one at bat determines moving on and going home, that .300 average doesn't matter. Aka Carlos Beltran.

The Rays were 3 game back of the Wild Card when the season ended. Your wrong again. It's ludicrous to think he didn't do well because he was in contention. This year just proved why you're wrong. He didn't just hit .325, which I really don't put much stock in batting average anyway, but he also had a .806 OPS which is above average and a .352 wOBA.

I agree with you he did nothing for us, but to believe he didn't do anything strictly because we were in contention is downright ridiculous reasoning. He has a career .733 OPS. That's just about average. You're making him out to be some scrub. Over an eight year career, numbers don't lie. I don't why you're saying, "numbers lie".

So you're saying Beltran doesn't show up when it's crunch time? Well he only batted .323/.346/.495 .396 wOBA with us and has the best OPS in Postseason history. You're wrong again. You don't judge a hitter's worth by looking at their batting average which you seem to do because you only provided Keppinger's and Beltran's average.

I'd be happy with him, but I think he might have inflated numbers from playing at Miller Park. He's got a difference in career home/away OPS of .126.
