Swisher. I don't like Blanco batting 7th. Pagan, Belt, Sandoval, Posey, Pence, Swisher, Arias, Crawford.

No to keppinger. He sucks. He needs to be on a bad team where no one cares about championships. Then he hits .300. Needed him in a playoff race and he got like maybe ten hits in 3 months. No thanks. Kelly Johnson stinks too.

Swisher fits in perfect here and actually wants to come here. And Arias is young and hungry and pretty good. Give him a shot at 2b.

Too see what kind of money he is looking for and how flexible he is on lowering his price if it means getting into a good situation.

How do Keppinger and Johnson suck, but Arias is pretty good? How is Arias hungry? Lol. Plus, how do you justify your claim that Keppinger needs to be on a bad team to hit well? The Rays were a good team and were contenders.

tough question, i think i'd rather go with swisher. Swisher+Arias is better than Blanco+Scutaro IMO

and especially if sctuaro is demanding 3 years, then id rather do a few years extra and go after swisher... whose the next "big bat" that might be available via free agency any time soon?

That makes absolutely no sense. You ignore the fact that he was on a contending team last year and had the best year of his career. Your theory is proven wrong right there. The few months he was with us were a fluke. It was the worst he ever hit for a team. He's got a career .733 OPS with nearly an above average OBP which is what I care about most so he'd be fine here on a one or two-year deal. But you want Arias because he had ONE good month? Did you notice he was awful the very next month and in May as well when he had the most ABs?
